Any questions about the mobile app can be sent via e-mail to aceadvoc AT nd DOT edu
What is CiviCRM?
CiviCRM is a "web-based, open source, Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) software geared toward meeting the needs of non-profit and other civic-sector organizations." (from their website)
What is the CiviCRM mobile app?
The CiviCRM mobile app is an open-source project that was originally developed by the Alliance for Catholic Education in association with the University of Notre Dame. It allows for on-the-go access and use of the information in the CiviCRM Database. The software is available for download via a Git repository. For access, send an email to aceadvoc AT nd DOT edu.
What is the CiviCRM Database?
The database contains contact information on organizations and individuals related to the Alliance for Catholic Education.
Why was this developed?
There is an increasing need for mobility and ease of access to information. For this reason, a mobile version of the CiviCRM database (from which you can access and use all of the information of the database) was developed. This app allows users to access contact information and contact necessary organizations and individuals.
How secure is this system?
This system was built with security in mind. Only pre-specified users who have the correct identification key (a 128-bit unique encryption code--different for each site) are able to access the information.
